Miller Farm Blacksmith Shop

The Blacksmith shop was donated by Dolph and Jean Rabidoux and was moved to the Miller property in 2007 by the Eaton Rapids Historical Society.

The shop and other buildings on Kipp Road were built in 1860 by Loren Sweet,  Jean's great grandfather. The Blacksmith shop was part of the farm operation. The farm was passed on to Loren's son Edgar (Ned) Sweet.  The shop was closed in November, 1965. The house and the building on the north side of the road were sold in 2007, and the shop donated to the ERAHS.
